Used the cafe here while at Tribfest, breakfast was good and good value. The cakes were really good - got one everyday to take out. Especially liked the vanilla slices and the brownies. Will be back.

Great place to visit, bearing in mind ancestors from here owned most of the surrounding area. Lovely gardens and tea rooms.

We were last in Sledmere a good number of years ago. Since then a lot of work has been done to improve the estate and the walled garden is now impressive. It is full of colour with vibrant and interesting borders. The vegetable area is...More

The walled gardens were amazing. Full of colour and very well maintained. A walk and a read in the peaceful grounds were followed by an excellent lunch in the cafe.
