The whole area around the priory is just steeped in history. Showing some Aussies around the Norman Priory, the quay area, the water mill, the castle/tower/keep ruins it really brings home the age of the area

Beautiful building with lots of architecture and full of history, a lovely place to wander. Look out for the beam and the story behind the church.

A beautiful building full of history . There are very knowledgeable volunteers that walk around that can answer your questions and tell you about the building.we spent an hour and a half wondering around.
