Me and my dad came here on Saturday 21st of Jan for a few hours out of the house. When we got there a polite gentleman was there to ask if we had been there before, to which we had so we were left to it. The hall and the different elements around the park were beautiful. We then decided... More

We have lived near Hanbury Hall most of our lives and never visited it. Recently we were gifted National Trust passes and decided to visit. Nestled away on a windy country road is the entrance. Beautifully kept land and grazing animals roam. Parking is free and there is a charming little building for entry and information. A short walk to... More

Went to Hanbury Hall as it was one of the few National Trust houses open in January. And I'm so glad we did, we went on the house tour which only did the down stairs but our guide Margaret was so informative and entertaining and before we knew it an hour had past. Its a lovely house and grounds and... More

The tea shop is welcoming with a good selection of cakes and other snacks the coffee always warm. This feature is appreciated by all... More

I visited with my 7 year old son and we were lucky enough to catch a tour. A very interesting look into late Tudor homes and lives. Lots to look at and discover. My son found the priest holes and hides fascinating. We had lunch in the small cafe which was delicious and reasonably priced. Will be visiting again. Be... More

Fantastic ! We are regular visitors to hanbury hall , but had never had afternoon tea at chambers before . It was booked as a Christmas treat , and certainly lived up to our expectations . Delicious sandwiches , festive blood orange and chocolate scones ( absolutely yummy) and of course mince pies and Christmas cake . As well as... More

Whether it's a Saturday Park Run or a day out with the family; this is a real 'must do'. Parking is easy. The Cafe is exquisite an the staff ( mostly volunteers) are very professional and knowledgeable. A place steeped in history.

Lovely visit to Hanbury Hall. Amazing grounds, very well kept and the house is very interesting. Our tour guide was particularly impressive, unfortunately I cannot recall his name, but he gave us a great deal of insight into how the family lived. The house has only every been owned by one family which is very unusual for these sort of... More
