Very beautiful house which has been sympathetically kept. Staff helpful and informative. The grounds are truly stunning from the formal to informal...all beautifully kept. Cafe ok. Shop good and plants available to buy.

This experience was better than I expected. I am a beach person and was not looking forward to going into countryside places. This is the first place we visited after joining the National Trust, but I was overwhelmed, such beautiful gardens, and I saw a...More

A really nice National Trust property. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. The house and gardens were interesting. Large gardens with very nice walking paths. Tearoom upstairs was very good.
