A nice little historical gem alongside a busy road but off the beaten track in a meadow. I was expecting more than the memorial, perhaps some gardens etc. A great piece of history and a lovely walk along the river to get there
Not the best of monuments, but other monuments in the area make this area more worth visiting.
The Magna Carta Monument itself is a small domed structure set in natural surroundings near the River Thames at Runnymede.

Tucked away off the main road the Magna Carta Moument
Is worth a while to see if only to say Iv been there Done that.
Dont expect bells and whistles just read the history and amire those who wrote the words.
