There is a special feeling to this place that I cannot explain. Yes, it is just a field with little to see but the importance of this place extends around the world.

Worth and hour or so to walk through the park to see the memorial but little else to do unless you take a picnic.

A nice little historical gem alongside a busy road but off the beaten track in a meadow. I was expecting more than the memorial, perhaps some gardens etc. A great piece of history and a lovely walk along the river to get there

This monument is not hugely impressive but marks a significant spot and is a good place to reflect on how lucky we are to live in a democracy (for those who do).
