    Tremendous value and very interesting
We spent a good couple of hours in the castle and museums, for the princely sum of £4 per head. The way the histories are presented is really interesting and not at all "dusty". We could easily go back next time we are in the area and not run out of interesting features. A real bonus is the staff - Enniskillen seems to specialise in really friendly folks, but this was exemplified in the castle. The chap who was maintaining the spotless cleanliness was also happy to exchange greetings and news. A must if you are in the area.

Brilliant visit on a sunny day!
Beautiful castle with plenty to view. Cafe is exceptional and I’d highly recommend the toasted sandwiches with salad. Excellent food and service from friendly helpful staff. Lovely shop area and plenty of leaflets about local things to do.

    Enniskillen Castle & Museums
Eniniskillen Castle is a great place to visit, so many things to see in the museums and very informative too. Learned a lot. Would have liked to have spent more time there and should we be over this way again will certainly revisit. The wee café has great coffee, tea and snacks, it is a must. The staff were all so helpful and kept us going in the right direction. Definitely one to put on the must do list if you are in or near Enniskillen

    Exceeded my expectations
It's a rare treat to visit an attraction where the staff really care and want you to have a good time. We were given lots of friendly pointers for what the kids might enjoy most during our visit which helped. The museum does a great job covering local history from pre historic times - quite an achievement! It also has a lot to interest those who like military history. We spent several hours there and I really recommend it.

    Great
The castle/museum is great. Tons of information regarding the town and its rich history. You should try the boat ride around the town as well. It includes the boat ride, castle entrance and a free coffee/tea and scone in the castle’s cafe. Would definitely recommend it

Paid for a family tour of the castle with an allocated time slot. Arrived for the tour to be told its self-lead. We watched the intro video in a sparse conference room setup. Its just seemed to be a virtual tour of the facilities so we left to explore it ourselves rather than watch it on screen.

During our self-lead tour there was a market on and 100's of people attending free and doing their own "self-lead tour". We enquired at military information desk what our entrance fee got us over and above the rest of crowd to be told in the visitors center it was essentially a free day as people could roam freely through the exhibits. Frustrated by this I enquired at the front desk to be told no. The 100's of people there were just hear for the food and we still needed to pay for my family's tour. Seemed wrong as whole site and access to it was open to everyone and they where doing what we did for free. This was met with, your wrong, you should not have been told that, who told you that. That person is not fully associated with us, speak to my manager in a antagonistic short tone. Overall, not a great experience and refund dismissed.

The castle is very well maintained, the history brilliantly and vividly told with a comprehensively descriptive introductory DVD at the beginning of the tour. The layout and context of the castle and its history is superbly explained.

Tried to book onto some events only to discover that the online booking system doesn’t work.
Incredible that a prestigious public body can’t organise an online booking system. Such incompetence from public servants is hard to fathom.
As a result I didn’t book & went elsewhere.
