1st visit and loved the building

Different class the best venue in the north east for sound and comfort. Chris de Burgh every yard of the venue in a tireless performance that lasted for 3 hours.

We were exploring the quayside and stopped here for a cuppa. Fantastic building, good coffee and other refreshments and fantastic city views. Nice little cafe in the middle of the building.

This venue is extremely extensive in its line-up of events. I have visited to see such diverse music as Crystal Gayle, Lonnie Donnegan's' son, my own children's local drama plays and even poetry reviews/discussions. It's a great place for all of that, drama, folk and instrumental music. They have a lovely little restaurant which, while a bit expensive, produces tasty... More

An absolutely amazing concert venue. I have beent to many concerts here, recording 2 Songs of Praise episodes as well as singing on the stage in a performance of Copland American Songs and Brahms German Requiem. Acoustics are amazing, and it is ge erally accepted as the best opera/ concert venue anywhere. GO AND VISIT!

Wow what a building best seen from the other side of the river on the Newcastle side. Inside is not as fantastic unless you are attending for a specific reason like a concert.

Best seen from a distance because access is on foot takes one through some pretty dismal parts of the city. The river bank on which the Sage is located is a scene of desolation. The paths and car parks give every impression of have been surfaced with a variety of left over materials from a variety of different jobs. Weeds... More

We didn't attend a function at the venue, but saw it as a piece of architecture from the quayside. It looked good and although across from the Tyne Bridge not out of place. It reflective skin made it shine in the sunlight and at night it irradiates colour.
