Superb piece of architecture, another credit to Gateshead council. Car park always popular. Said to be the most viewed piece of sculpture in the land, because of the A1 passing close by.

... Amazing piece of art sculpture... Very easy to find, very easy to park... Lovely sunny, cold afternoon when we visited but well worth it....

You have to stand at it's feet to experience the enormity of this huge iron marvel goddess. Also you need to kiss the feet in order to bring you good fortune.

A gave this 5 stars for one reason, to stand under this amazing Sculpture by the great Antony Gormley is awe inspiring. To view it from the A1M is amazing but take the time to stop and look up at it.

We glimpse the Angel of the north from the train as we entered the Newcastle district. A special landmark.

For such an iconic and active site, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't sell a postcard or two at least. But the sculpture itself was not in the least disappointing. Come on, Council - DO SOMETHING BETTER.

A magnificent sculpture that you must see. Go on a fine day and once you have parked your car it is an easy walk to the statue which can't be missed! It's presence is quite overwhelming and it is ideal for taking plenty of photographs to remember your visit.

A must seen whether a local or visitor. Amazing when you walk up to this magnificent sculpture, the magnitude of it. Lots of photo opportunities and you have to have a selfie with the Angel. There is nothing I love more than on the train coming back from the South and you see his welcoming arms and you know you... More
