Went for the Rick Astley concert Friday 17th March with my wife. No access at the front for wheelchairs so had to put wheelchair away and walk up stairs. Got to box office and allocated a wheelchair. When tickets were booked 6 months in advance we did tell them that my wife was disabled and in a wheelchair. No information... More

This theatre has a wide range of shows and tickets can be purchased on the web. The staff are all very helpful. The downside is there is no lift and the steps are rather steep. it is therefore necessary to purchase stall tickets if you are disabled. Also make sure you do not but a ticket that has limited view... More

Thank you for your review - I'm really pleased to hear that the staff were all helpful. Although we would love to have a lift for our customers, when a feasibility study was done there wasn't anywhere that a lift could be sited and so we have to focus on making our stalls area as accessible as possible. If you... More

I've been to the Victoria Theatre many times over the last 10 years and seen stand up comedy, ballet. live music and pantomime. The theatre has a lovely, heritage interior with a grand staircase sweeping up to the first floor and some lovely stained glass on the ceiling. The staff have always been enthusiastic and helpful, ticket prices are good... More

Bowie Experience spanned the entire breadth of David Bowie's career, taking you on a fabulous musical journey, full of energy. Authentic outfits with great musicians, transported you back to the 70's, fabulous show

Went to see Smokie in concert at the Victoria with friends from Batley. The theatre isn't the biggest by a long way but comfortable seats and good views from the stalls area. From the programme it looks a very busy place so if anyone has the chance to go, I would certainly recommend it.

A lovely old, comfortable theatre but second the review further down that seats are quite small if you end up sat next to someone larger than average. Stalls are definitely the best seats for room. Audio was a bit hit and miss throughout the performance. Long queues for the bar and toilets, which could do with refurbishing as they're quite... More

Peter Pan was all a Panto should be - great entertainment for kids and adults. Ideal introduction for a three year old, to the genre of Panto. She loved it. So did her Mum & Granny. Well done to this lovely theatre and to all who contributed to the show. An added bonus was seeing it "signed" so well, for... More

We went here for a concert with friends. We met up in one of the bars where the atmosphere was lively and friendly. The concert itself was an all- standing event but with good views from all positions. All in all, a good experience

I saw the stone roses here and for one seeing them in my home town was enough. But I couldn't of thought anywhere better than the Victoria theatre. The atmosphere was amazing and all the staff were good with the amount of people that came. Big bands 100% need to do gigs here.

Thank you - we're really glad you enjoyed the gig. We love it when big bands play the Victoria Theatre too and the Stone Roses gig was amazing. Hope to see you back again soon! More
