We took the bus to Kinross Park and Ride then walked from there to the start of the Heritage Trail. We hadn't planned to complete the whole circuit but it is easy walking, the scenery is gorgeous and we were blethering. Once we had calculated we had passed the point of no return, it occurred to us that we might... More

There are so many choices of where to begin your walk/cycle round the loch. My favourite starting place is to go clockwise from Kirkgate Park and stop 2/3 of the way round for an amazing, great value brunch at the Findatie cafe. Young families might prefer to walk round to Burleigh Sands and back so the children can potter about... More

This trail wanders round the loch with plenty of access places so you can do the whole trail or just part of it. there are hides for bird watching.

The Loch Leven trail offers easy access from a variety of locations around Loch Leven for able and less mobile folks. You can potter around little shore areas for 20 minutes or walk or bike around the whole 13 miles. Fantastic addition to our area!

We loved our cycle around here. Great to get a long off road track with some lovely views, places of interest and a few cafes!

About 13 miles of easy walking. Most is probably suitable for all access (wheelchairs etc) but there are a few possible obstacle eg the zigzag bends on a small hill near the southeast end.

Parked up at Kirkgate and set off on bikes to ride around the heritage trail. Well signposted, lots of wooden carved benches and the trail was all off road through a variety of fields, woodland and along the lochside. There were boat trips over to the castle, children's play area, lots of dog walkers and a quiet village to amble... More

It was a tad windy so we didn't get all the way along the track today but what we covered was great. Nice to see the paths so well maintained.
