The window displays caught our attention as did the fact it also had a cafe. It was a real treasure trove so before looking around we thought we'd start off with coffee and cake! The homemade cakes were delicious and for a change there was a pot of coffee instead of the usual two cups that most places give you. When the tray was brought to the table there was an egg timer sitting on top of the coffee pot! The lady advised that once the sand had gone through once it would be perfect for me as I like my black coffee weak, to turn over the timer and the second run through would be perfect for my husband as it would be normal strength!! There was another surprise hiding behind the coffee pot, a small vintage glass filled with chocolate beans! The shop is filled with all sorts of vintage items from jewellery to furniture, there are also handmade craft items. We stopped here for a cup of tea. We were made to feel very welcome & there was a host of interesting items in the shop to explore. A proper tea shop that offers you a selection of teas & coffees, tastefully presented. Items are selected from local producers/makers where possible. A delight.…
