I landed my plane at the airfield and found the walk from the airfield to Salcombe very well signed and well maintained. although it is dry, it would be another thing if the ground was wet and muddy.

Great clifftop walk to enjoy in the sun. Some occasionally strenous sections and not many places to find drinks so bring some with you.

Make sure you walk along the South West Coast Path to Stare Hole Cove on the way and you'll go through some amazing rocky, wild scenery, a real contrast to the more gentle rolling hills around Salcombe.
