Spent a leisurely few hours here on a recent visit to Devon. An ideal little town to let time pass by & people watch. Some quaint little shops & places to grab a bite to eat or something to drink. well worth a walk round
We visited the Town of Salcombe on 9/21/18. There are many wonderful shops to browse in and some great eating options. The harbor is very picturesque and expect to see lots of rib boats and Boston Whalers in Salcombe.

Lovely harbour with good views and plenty of benches to people watch from. Keep an eye out for the mullet swimming around under the boats, they were quite impressive. On a sunny day, you could almost imagine that you were sat in a foreign country....More

Ah I see.......not having much of an interest in Sailing I didn’t take too much notice, but I will say there was a large number of Vessels moored and the Ferry we caught did have to carefully navigate its way to the Departure point. There were also a large number of dingys moored in the steps area.
