One of the few remaining examples of a fine, traditional, unspoilt Victorian municipal park. One of the first in England to set a trend for the provision of areas for specific sporting activities (originally bowls, archery and cricket). 43 acres providing beautifully landscaped green space within a ten minute walk of Wolverhampton city centre. Conservatory, tennis courts, chalet tearooms, boating lake, children's play area, bowling green (located in Park Crescent), disabled access.

I live very close to the West Park, so able to jog around the outer track (roughly a mile) or go for a brisk walk, which is great considering how close to the City centre it is.

great place, gardens well, kept, tennis courts/gym facilities and an abundance of wildlife. The water looked rather grim for the duck etc to swim in, but I am not knowledgeable on whether this was because of lack of oxygen, or a 'normal' thing that is...More

Wonderful time just sauntering round; it's flat enough for the less able, the paths are wheelchair-friendly, formal flower beds very colourful. Then there's the conservatory, the lake, the trees which dull the noise, the children's playground, the cafe - something for everyone.

Stopped here on our way home so our daughter could have a little play in the park. Great little play area with some interesting equipment. Lovely park with plenty of green space and loads of waterfowl on the ponds.

Very nice park with a children's play ground, boating lake and conservatory. Small cafe. The flower beds are kept nicely. Plenty of room for young and old.
