This small twin cinema, exhibition space and café is superb. It also hosts lots of regular community events. Housed in the old Chubb locks building this is a real treasure. It needs public support as grants from the council are cut. Cinema shows all the new films, cheaper than multi screens and much more friendly.

People in Wolves are missing a trick not using the cinema more. It's nice that you can take a beer or proper coffee into the cinema for instance. Good choice of films. Some mainstream some independent. Chubb building is great also. We took the kids to see the latest Harry Potter. Worth noting it was £10 cheaper than the cinema... More

We visit this place once a month for a music night! Its always a delight! You have NCP car parks around the area, this is the only down fall except the lack of beer choice .

Why don't more people come to this really good and attractive venue? The cinema is brilliant and has the latest films but there are so few people that go. I would be very sad if it had to go because of cutbacks. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good snack bar . There is space for the... More

I visited the cinema here with a group of friends. The whole building is very quaint with cobbled stones and old windows. There is a lovely eatery which was surprisingly busy. The cinema itself isnt too big which was actually very nice. It felt a bit more intimate. I also visited the building one weekend when they were holding a... More

Such a lovely space for the arts, with gallery space next door to the cinema itself. It's excellent value for money and a great experience. Love the fact you can take your drinks in to the screen with you. The cafe is buzzing and there are alot of different events on offer to attract a range of people!

This is a brilliant small cinema for those of us who want to watch the film without the annoying audience eating buckets of pop corn, drinking gallons of coke [& subsequent frequent trips to the loo], no one using phones or talking. But there is a café/bar and you can take in your tea/coffee/beer and cake! This venue also has... More

Superb place for films and transmissions of operas, ballet, plays etc. Friendly, warm ambiance in the cafe/bar. Excellent value all round Interesting activities. Check out their website. I have been going there for 25 years and Wolverhampton would be a poor place without it.

Great little place. Independent cinema that does show popular films but probably recognised for showing the type of film that is a bit more niche. Last time I visited was to see a National Theatre Live film of a ballet mix at the Royal Opera House - Carlos Acosta in Carmen. The Chubb Buildings are Victorian in origin - part... More
