Taken a while to post. Lovely house, with lots to do for everyone - history, walking the grounds, kids activities and shopping. Visited the tea room and had a cream tea outside.

The National Trust guide was excellent and I had a wheelchair for the first time in my life. The restaurant was adequate.

Popped in for a catch up over lunch with friends.. The food was very nice.. roast lamb and a beef tagine was on the menu .. both excellent around the £9 each mark.. very friendly service and the coffee and hot chocolate to die for.....More
