I had a poor experience, the grounds keeper has reduced the time of access and he shut my husband in with our dog and some other people and was point blank refusing to let them out , the grounds themselves are nice enough but the reduced hours no longer gives people who work time really to go there to walk... The park has some good laid out paths to take walks of up to about a mile round trip. Best to visit when the tide is in as it is then at its prettiest. Good scope for young children with an adventure playground. A pleasant cafe available too.

It's a great day out for the family, lots to do and see plus educational. History of the local area and the part it played in protecting the Thames during the Second World War . Activity days, reasonable priced eating or plenty of picnic areas.

We enjoyed our day with the Grand Kids walking around the reserve area and kids play site, the playground needs a bit of attention but overall, it was a really nice day out.

We often go to Watt Tyler to have a walk. There are plenty of things to do for the kids and if you like the nature and birds etc. this is a place to see all.

Great place for a walk, only wish all dog owners would clean up after their animals. Paths are good to walk on in all weathers

It has been a while since we went here but others we know have and said it is still as good as it was when we visited. Nice range of lunches well prepared and a lovely view.
