If you visit Buxton then a trip to the Pavilion Gardens and park next door are worth it. Has the character and charm that it must have had when built in 1870. Lots of different plants and flowers to point out to little ones.

One of the nicest parks we have visited. So clean and kept immaculate. Something for everyone with lovely green areas flower beds, lakes and river running through and play areas and train for the children.More

Drove from north Cheshire (22 degrees) to Buxton (17 degrees) for trip out and went to the Gardens. Very impressed. They are not RBS/NT standard but probably the best municipal gardens we have seen. Well worth a visit together with the impressive PavilionMore

This is a great park in the heart of Buxton. There are lakes, large play areas, gardens and a miniature railway. The pavilion itself overlooks one side. Our daughter loved the play area which had modern equipment.More

Hello, Dogs are allowed in he gardens, we ask that you keep them on a lead. However, they are not allowed in our venue (except for guide dogs) as we serve food and drinks.
