This Opera House will not disappoint for pure splendor - white and gilt. Do look up at the ceiling painting! It has clearly been refurbished relatively recently. The building suffers from limitations of the original design: crowded stairs and limited toilets.

Have been a few times and have always enjoyed it. The theatre is one of the most beautiful in the country and well worth a visit.

Sorry, no but if you have a blue badge you can park on the double yellow lines outside the theatre. It is about 20 metres to the disabled entrance
