What a cracking little museum. Packed full of local history. Sorry I can't remember the gentleman name who works there. He made our visit exceptional!! I really hope more local businesses will support the work done.

Good for a rainy day and Scotland gets plenty of those! Bit expensive for what was in there though. Local history you would expect from a small town museum. Volunteer staff nice and helpful.

The attendant was excited about the history of the area. He asked questions about our interests and relations and showed us extra pertinent pictures and articles.

People in the area asked if we'd been to "the castle" so we decided to go thinking we were touring the building. We were pleasantly surprised to discover it was a local museum. Additionally, it was a free-will donation. We learned a lot by going...More
