Aug 2016 • Friends
Stayed in Folkestone for the night, pub was next to the hotel so popped in here for few drinks and some food. Nice little pub and the staff were very nice and friendly. ordered burger and chips and cant really complain. Not out of this world food but good enough for the price.

Twisted

There is a restaurant up the stairs. The bar area is disjointed. To visit this pub when a band is on get there extra early as there is limited seating we ended up in one area listening to a band playing around the corner ! Small bar causing queues. Toilets are situated round the back of the bar. The rear of the pub is an eye sore. Dirty bins over flowing. Beer poor.

Lovely quaint restaurant

Visited this one as it was near to the hotel and had a real treat. The restaurant is upstairs with a view over the harbour. It was all that we could hope for. Good food, reasonably priced, and very good service from a lovely waitress. Real ale as well.
What more does a man want?.

23 Friends out for the evening
Twenty three friends booked in for a fish and chip supper in the upstairs dining area. When we arrived we ordered drinks at the ground floor bar, I was slightly put off at first by a small group at the bar (males aged between twenty and thirty) who's language left a lot to be desired, they were aware of our wives and partners but, this didn't seem to make any difference to their behaviour.
After receiving our drinks we moved to the upstairs dining area.
The waitress was extremely helpful and very efficient. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection, the batter was crisp as were the chips, a really enjoyable meal.
