The museum is small and packed full of interesting information, almost all of which is local to Huddersfield. There’s a section on Seth Mosley that looked particularly interesting but was closed (due to an unsafe roof). Everyone will find something of interest in Tolson Museum.

Lovely little museum free entry little shop inside where you can purchase Nic naks n a brew, play park to the side of the museum would recommend have been a few times not much changes but it’s a great day out

Thank you for your review. After redesigning and decorating the entrance hall last Autumn we are now working on a new exhibition 'Our Fight for the Voting Right' which will be open at the end of April.

This a traditional museum with tons of history and the geology of the area and the history of the past with plenty to see.

I visited for work on an appointment and had a quick look round whilst I was there but there was not much to see really. This is a museum which is very much outdated and either needs refurbishing or closing. It was also over staffed...More

Went here a few times previously but took our nephews and nieces here during their recent visit. Only great memories were all the stuffed birds. Very educational visit.

Took 6 year old grandaughter. Very helpful staff and diverse exhibitions which kept my grandaughter interested. She loved the transport section. Good outdoor facilities.
