This is a wonderful peaceful place to reflect and ponder in. Beautifully tended throughout the year and you can just imagine those victorian ladies parading with their parasols. Feed the squirrels and selection of british birds or just sit and take it all in. Good space for artists.

These gardens are the gem of Scarbourough south cliff. I used to walk through them with my parents every week in the late 1950's, and despite the passage of 60 years they are still as of New Year's Day 2017, idyllic and beautifully kept. There were always the most gorgeous large goldfish in the pool even in the dead of... More

One of our favourite places to visit when we are in Scarborough and every visit there is always something different to see. We were amazed how lovely the flowerbeds still looked on our October visit. Its a lovely walk up from the centre of Scarborough through the Rose Garden and through the Italian Gardens up to the putting green which... More

Do stop here to sit and admire the flowers and shrubs, to feed the squirrels and just to enjoy the peace and quiet. It is such a lovely, calm oasis - a peaceful haven of beautiful lawns, floerbeds and trees, planted around the turn of the 20th century and still giving visitors so much pleasure today!

The gardens are a little haven in among an overgrown hillside above the Spa it looks as though the whole area were once gardens but probably would cost a fortune to maintain now but do go and see the gardens they can be a bit hard to locate at first but well worth the trouble then go and see the... Delightful old park, and so nice to see the local council looking after it so well despite the Tory cuts

We struggled to find the gardens which are situated on the cliff but managed to ask some locals. Lovely hot day so it was nice to sit in the beautiful gardens and recharge the batteries. Still very colourful even in September.
