We walked here with a group of friends in November on a lovely sunny day it is a beautiful country park with well maintained pathways and lovely views with lots of water and of course plenty of wildlife. Well worth a visit.

Popped down for a nice quiet walk, a few parking spaces and a £1 donation to stop. Had a leisurely walk round the lake and river meadow, and then popped into the Dragonfly Cafe for a quick bite to eat. Prices were very reasonable and...More

This used to be such a lovely cafe to visit, friendly staff, good food and service. How sad that this has changed so drastically in such a short time. My son and I visited today, we waited for 10 minutes in a very quiet cafe...More

Odell Park is lovely for walks, it's a beautiful place, but the cafe leaves a lot to be desired. It's in a nice position but the food is mediocre at best, and the customer service is dreadful. They expect you to wait over half an...More

OK circular walk round a a small lake. Not that much parking space. Small wood adjoining, and lots of space to spread out. Take a plastic sheet as there were a few dogs being walked when we were about. The cafe is also dog friendly,...More

We have been visiting the park for many years. Whilst the park itself is a great walk, the cafe has been the victim of a greedy council. That greed has had a serious knock-on for the customer. Since Tea-Zels lost the franchise in 2016, the...More

We had not been to walk around the country park for a long time. So we took a picnic and walked all round the lake. We had a really relaxing afternoon at very little cost and a really enjoyable afternoon

Good toys for younger children near the cafe which sells really excellent cake! Other food looked delicious too. Spent 30p on seeds for the ducks and grand daughter really loved feeding them - what a great idea. Very pleasant walk around the lake passing toys...More

Whilst out cycling, a friend and I stopped off for a drink. It was beautiful sitting in this peaceful place outside the cafe. Definitely somewhere that I will return to when in the area.

I've not seen any Kingfishers there but I have seen one at Mill Meadow in Bedford - that's the bit of the Great Ouse behind Cardington Road east of The Park Hotel.

Simple answer, no, AFAIK they lock the barrier at the road entrance to stop "travellers" setting up camp.

I have seen powered scooters regularly in the park. The paths around the lake are not laid to cement, but paths are there. There may be a bit of vibration . It i a lovely place to go .
