Have been coming to this park for over 20 years and and always loved the previous cafe. Today was the last time we will visit as the food was extremely poor. The soup was like thickened water with chili flakes; the warm coleslaw was inedible;...More

Decided to try it and it wasn't the worst place I've been too. Staff were busy although there were plenty of them. The best thing was how warm it was. Generally it was clean and there was a good selection of food available.. However customer...More

Great place to walk and play with children. Lovely open safe space, easy walking and picturesque setting. Simple local cafe and plenty of parking. Part of the walk is a disused railway track and a lake. Local villages provide good food and drink.

Nice walk and lovely surroundings. However the experience was marred by being charged £5.95 for a takeaway bacon sandwich at the cafe!

I've not seen any Kingfishers there but I have seen one at Mill Meadow in Bedford - that's the bit of the Great Ouse behind Cardington Road east of The Park Hotel.

Simple answer, no, AFAIK they lock the barrier at the road entrance to stop "travellers" setting up camp.

I have seen powered scooters regularly in the park. The paths around the lake are not laid to cement, but paths are there. There may be a bit of vibration . It i a lovely place to go .
