What a beautiful park, lovely views across the lake, for the fit folks lots of lovely walks. The Dragonly fly restaurant was excellent, lovely cream tea for £3.50. Try the keep fit apparatus, great fun!

We used to visit regularly, for a late breakfast or for lunch. Lovely food, served with a smile. It's gone really downhill, and is now a place to avoid. What a pity!

Decided to have coffee and cake at this little cafe, and it was gorgeous 😊 Quick and efficient service, lovely cake and really friendly staff. It is spotlessly clean and very busy My new favourite place!

Lovely place to wander around the many clear, accessible paths surrounding the lake and ponds. Some interesting pieces of sculpture hidden in lots of places along the paths, plus plenty of seating to stand admire the views across the lakes. Pleasant cafe offering lunches from...More

A really quiet and lovely laid out park which benefits from one of the best cafes you can find in what are usually 'afterthoughts'.

Love this park so much! We have 3 children and 2 labs! They all love the park. I really like the fact that they allow dogs off lead, so they get a lot of enjoyment too. :)

I've not seen any Kingfishers there but I have seen one at Mill Meadow in Bedford - that's the bit of the Great Ouse behind Cardington Road east of The Park Hotel.

Simple answer, no, AFAIK they lock the barrier at the road entrance to stop "travellers" setting up camp.

I have seen powered scooters regularly in the park. The paths around the lake are not laid to cement, but paths are there. There may be a bit of vibration . It i a lovely place to go .
