After being in the lovely litttle cafe, decided to have a look around the Galleries. One room had some nice paintings, one had about 500 photos, of nothing really interesting, another, modern art stuff... Not our thing so did not really appreciate it

This review is about the cafe, not the gallery. It's a lovely place, with a nice garden, however the service I received was poor. It's not cheap and I would expect better. Dirty, uncleaned tables. I had to ask for mine to be wiped and...More

This gallery hosts an interesting range of exhibitions, which are changed regularly. It is a small venue but there are enough galleries to generate interest. In addition to the viewing areas there is a shop which is great for unusual gifts also a café. The...More

A delightful space which, when we visited, was exhibiting stunning landscapes painted by Michael Goodey. If other exhibitions held there are to the same high standard, they’ll be worth looking out for. There’s a nice cafe area and the gardens should be good for sitting...More

Pleasant enough featuring a couple of artists whose work was interesting. Has an on site cafe and shop, but train time tables did not permit a longer visit. Shop contains quite a bit of art done by students at the associated art school.

Very underused space, the main exhibition hall had only about a dozen pictures, and the hall smelt damp and bad. A second smaller hall displayed pots and vases, quite small but nice items, many also for sale. The shop had an interesting range of prints...More
