Wentworth is as beautiful and interesting as many cotswold villages but less known. The magnificant Wentworth Woodhouse and grounds should be on any history lovers list of must do's. The village is interesting and you can spend a few hours wandering the street, visiting the many interesting shops and wonderful garden centre. Have lunch in either of the 2 country... More

Been a regular visitor for 50 plus years! Always enjoyed the atmosphere - a little quaint. Two good pubs. Lots to do - interesting small shops, two churches (one now a semi-ruin but preserved - the other a magnificent 19th century building with super acoustics for concerts, etc.). Interesting walks. Wentworth Woodhouse stately home. Monuments. Big garden centre. Visit recommended.

A beautiful little village, good pubs, quaint shops and excellent country walks. The garden centre is a good place to browse for a couple of hours too!

If you love the country, quaint houses, olde worlde pubs, a historic church, antique shops and a garden centre with small petting zoo. This is the place to go.

Lovely to walk round, near to the Bistro and the garden centre. Lovely walk down to the church surrounded by squirrels.

What a place to visit. A real village, little village shops. Little church which is inviting for all. Cafes and pub grub .when you go here you are near the garden centre, well within walking distance and ones a month they have the food market held in the garden centre grounds. Good family outing.

Set mid way between Sheffield and Barnsley, this village is a beautiful location, with the Bistro and a couple of pubs, there is plenty to do on a night out, the garden centre just up the road is well worth a visit.

If Wentworth was in the Cotswolds it would be overrun with visitors; instead it is a lovely estate village, steeped in history. Well worth a visit
