The park is large and impressive and is free. Good walks around the lakes and to the famous lion bridge. Gardens and house are extra and well worth seeing.

Check out the park during the week day when nobody is around! It's beautiful, relaxing, calm, and the pups love it!! The sites of Burghley House as you approach feel like you're walking into Oz!

Visited on a hot summer day. Gardens and grounds were spectacular with a leisurely stroll through the sculpture gardens proving relaxing and enjoyable. The water features were spectacular and particularly popular with the children and adults alike.

We visit this park several times a year purely to exercise our legs and walk the dog, the coffee shop and restaurant is a bonus. The Burghley horse trials are a good day out but can be expensive.

The main park of Burghley House is free to enter and enjoy and, on the day we were there, there were many families just picnicing and enjoying the open space - playing games, stretching out in the sun, letting the children run around and climb...More

Plenty of parking. A great park to walk around with a lot of deer to see. The attached gardens (entrance fee) were very good

Burghley Park is always good, no matter what the weather. Picnicking, walking the dog (or someone else’s dog), strolling with the family or on your own, or simply sitting and enjoying nature at its very best this is the place to be.

Don’t know. Plenty of clear space but as private land you will need to ask, I think. Good luck.
