The grounds are lovely, with some amazing views of Burghley House itself, as well as a few interesting sights within the park, including a memorial to Diana, Princess of Wales. We didn't have as much time as we would have liked, but I think we'll come back to spend more time here.

It's great that parking in the park is free and it is really lovely to wander around the extensive grounds. I love the glimpses of the beautiful house that you get from various vantage points. We watched the cricket match today - the pavilion is idyllic and it was so lovely to watch the play in such a wonderful setting.

We visited the grounds and thoroughly enjoyed the woods and especially the sculpture garden and the water Gardens. The sculptures were clever and located in such a way as to make you wander in all directions in search of hidden gems. The water sculptures were highly entertaining for kids and adults alike. I would highly recommend this place

What a great space that is offered with free parking. Open parklands with plenty of space to ride bikes, run or picnic

The park is very extensive but I particularly liked the Garden of Surprises and the Sculpture Park. We will be visiting again as there is so much to explore.

We don't live far from the estate, so walk the dog there a lot. The actual park is nice but it's no adventure playground. No play facilities for children, and you have to pay for gardens of surprise. The park itself is free to enter. I've never been in the house but the Orangery cafe is OK - don't expect... More
