The town hall is very historic but also feels stylish. There is plenty of room for most functions. Staff are always very helpful. I recommend a visit if you explore Stamford.

in this rather quaint town. This particular building melds well with all the surrounding edifices. A great example of architecture put to good use.

We visited the town hall during the Georgian festival. Very informative tour, lots of history and lovely building to enjoy. Also visited the cells which were dank, dark, gloomy horrible places for prisoners in the past. A must if you visit Stamford.

Popped in to see the life size recreation of Daniel Lambert but, beyond that, there's not much for the tourist see beyond a few other artefacts of local interest. Building is certainly impressive.

Interesting building, gives history of Stamford, list of councillors and information offices and paintings.
