Splashdown Waterpark is a great day out for family and friends. There’s something for everyone – from big kids to little ones – with some of the UK’s most exciting waterflumes. For the thrill-seekers, brave the Screamer with its sheer vertical drop. Plunge into darkness on the Black Thunder. And hold on to your pants as you shoot down the Spacebowl like a human pinball. Or if that sounds a bit like hard work, just go with the flow on the Mississippi Drifter. There’s the fabulous Little Buccaneers SplashZone with a starter flume, water play area and Buccaneer Bay, our toddler swimming pool. And, on a hot summer’s day, Buccaneer Beach is the perfect spot for a splash with the little ones. There’s even somewhere to play for little landlubbers. We’re open all year with indoor rides in the winter. In the spring, we take the slide outside where the Mississippi pours into the Grand Canyon. And, in May, bring on the awesome Screamer Tower – it’s fluming good fun! What are you waiting for?

i have been here before previously and really enjoyed it, however this time not so much, the changing rooms where filthy which i think is a disgrace seems we are to walk around bear foot, the staff rude and swore infront of children I certainly will not be visiting again

Took a toddler along and when eventually found toddler pools they were far too deep, life guards totally ignored the areas and didn't stop teenagers racing through pools. If I took a teen there I would be worried as it was overcrowded, no control over the large groups and at some stage it could be serious. Changing rooms filthy, dirty... More

My only gripe was with the fact that i was not allowed to wear my sports goggles in the slides areas. I thought surely these must be better than normal glasses. But the seem to have an issue with all sorts of glasses. But you are allowed to wear jewellery and non swimwear clothing in the water. Surely that's a... More

We took our grandson over Easter who was really looking forward to it. Found it dirty, tired looking and very confusing about where the slides came out. My grandson went on one ride and refused to try anymore as people were coming down too close behind him and crushing him. Very expensive for what it is.

A brilliant afternoon had. Despite the queues onto the slides being Easter break, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Great variety of slides, suitable for all ages and confidence in the water. 6hrs flew in no time! Showers were the only let down, pressure wise. Well recommended

We visited during easter holidays so expected it to be busy. The staff were extremely helpful and polite but this was the extent of it. We couldn't find the only two toddler friendly pools and i say that loosely. It took 20 mins of wandering and asking staff where they were and the directions given were poor. We found one... More

Why would I expect there to be a swimming pool in a water park? Maybe cos of all the water parks I have visited in the past.....actually have one!! Not here! If you can't swim, or have a child that is not a strong swimmer, do not go here! It is great if you want to go on slides all... More

My son visited splashdown on saturday as part of a party group, and was skeptical about going at first, as he's not a confident swimmer. However his party host (Ellie) who was very attentive and friendly, was amazing and put his nerves to rest! I cannot thank her enough! What a fun filled party it was, and 3 days later... More

3yo loved the buccaneer zone. Great, modern, fun, clean: apparatus, facilities & safety staff. It was her first experience of a waterpark, she is not a confident swimmer, this did not matter however &has forever increased her confidence with water as she could play in it & paddle instead of just swimming in a pool. She is the fourth generation... More

We went here on a Saturday afternoon. We did not know what to expect but thought it would be fun for our daughter. Wrong! We took her to a kids pool, to get there my wife had to parade past a crowd of onlookers. She was not best pleased. The pool had a height restriction which meant nothing to some... More
