About
Bramford Golf Centre, located just off both the A12 and A14 in Ipswich and is a fantastic privately owned golf complex set around some of Suffolks best countryside. There is something here for every golfer whatever their standard, whether its the 22 bay floodlit driving range, putting green, golf course with 9 greens and 18 tees, coffee shop/bar, fanatstic shop and bookable function room. We also have 3 PGA Professionals available for coaching. Open to the public, seven days a week. Its a must!

Great little course
Aug 2021 • Couples
Having played a good few times here, we love the course. Staff are always friendly and very helpful. The course itself, has some tricky holes, especially negotiating the trees, bunkers and water!
A very relaxed course to play whilst improving our game.

Good driving range and lessons. Car park rules should be clearer.

Love using this facility for the driving range. £6.50 for 120 balls. Good value and lots of fun. My son enjoys golf lessons. Unfriendly towards dogs waiting in the car park while picking up son but no signs to say so - signs should be put up. Not really a family friendly approach - never heard of a car park where dogs are banned.

Nice picturesque course
Mar 2020
I have always found the staff helpful and very polite. The course itself is more challenging than it looks on paper and the scenery and wildlife are great, this is a beautiful course to play on in the summer season, not so much in the fall as it can get really muddy..

One of the worst golf
Courses I have been too
Jul 2020 • Friends
The golf was one of the worst I have been too, full of mole holes, wasps nests in one of the roughs and the greens are full of holes.
Needs restoration ASAP.

Very Good Day, Helpful Staff and Picture Perfect Countryside and Oh Yes the Golf was Good
Mar 2019 • Friends
We traveled up from Shoeburyness to take our wives to Riverhills Spa nearby and whilst there we wanted to have a game of golf but could not take our clubs due to lack of room. Ringling up in advance the Man on the telephone was very helpful including the hiring of clubs.
The following day we turned up at the scheduled time and the clubs were ready, he described the course including giving us a layout of the golf course. The off we went, the course itself was quite good but very picturesque with the wildlife and scenery. Very good but had to keep our mind on the golf as there was a lot of water.
Would like to go again perhaps we can arrange a trip.
Oh yes friendly staff member who was extremely helpful, good on yer mate!!

Good course for mid-tier players
Sep 2017 • Friends
Course is more difficult than your standard pitch and putt, so for casual players I wouldnt recommend it, or you'll be stuck all day! For mid-tier players though, this is a great course, challenging holes. The water hole is particularly good, something you dont normally get on a standard 9 hole, and really enjoyable.

Driving range is good for the most part, however always lacking in the rubber tees, always seem to be missing and can never find an orange 'high' tee!

Staff friendly and helpful, all in all a great little local course

Tougher than it looks on paper!
Dec 2014 • Friends
This is a great little course and the 5-holes the feature flying the ball over water are pretty testing.

The staff a very friendly and informal and the price is reasonable.

On top of this they have a great restaurant area, a well stocked shop and a very good practise facility.

I highly recommend it and will be returning.

Challenging but pleasant
Sep 2014 • Friends
This is only my second time on a full 18 golf course, it is a very tight little course with some highly challenging holes, plenty of water. Fairways need a little TLC but after plying this course a few times it will make any other courses look easy. Would play here again.

Tough but fun!
Sep 2014 • Couples
Par 64 but what it lacks in length is makes up for in hazards. There are water hazards at a third of the holes. The requirement at this course is not "brute strength" but accuracy from the tee. It is a great course for the beginner who quickly learns how to move the ball in a straight line.
