One of many beautiful parks in Ipswich. Walk around the ponds and the knotted garden. If you're lucky you may see a muntjac deer.

We spent the whole afternoon in this park. The Children's play area is fab with plenty to keep them busy. The park itself is huge and we spent ages walking around the grounds. There is plenty to get the kids into nature with trees to...More

There is one thing no one can deny about Ipswich, we have amazing parks. Chantry park being one of them. The kids play area is good and the park is huge. I also love the mansion right by the hadleigh road entrance. Top park!

Sadly, there is no cafe in Chantry Park. In the past, the stable block attached to the mansion has been the home to two or three cafes over the years, but regrettably none of them lasted. I guess there were insufficient... More

Not sure I'd want to be there after dark, but I don't believe this park is ever locked. For one thing, access may be required to the residential home at any time of day or night. There are gates, but parts of the grounds are... More
