The building has some beautiful architecture, and this makes for an interesting and exciting place to read. They have computers that you can use, and an easy machine that you can use to scan your books in and out. The staff seem friendly. The only complaint I have is that I was trying to pay a fine for being 1... More

Our 2 year old Granddaughter loves going to the library with her granddad on a Wednesday to attend Tot Rock. She enjoys taking part with the staff and other toddlers. She also knows her way around the book shelves to choose her books for the week. She is currently gaining stickers for her book each week, which she then shares... More

I like to look in here as it has great information for group help things and local charity events and possibly trying out new things to learn and to get to know and making new friends. Libraries are not just places filled with dusty old books. Staff are pretty helpful too.

It is a relief to be able to come to this marvellous old library and use it as a library (instead of as a meeting area, council office, tourist information office, cafe, etc. as is becoming a norm in some of the outer reaches of Suffolk).

The staff are very helpful and the range of books across all subjects on the ground floor is amazing considering there is no charge... More
