Great place for families you have the beach great play area, there are exercise equipment that you can use if you want to keep fit. But the best part for my husband and knead the sunset, amazing!

First visit there and its as nice as the promenade. unfortunately the tide was in so could not see much of the beach but the walk was nice. There is a cafe which is well worth a visit and you can eat inside or outside.

West Shore Beach is much more quiet than North Shore Beach, there are less tourists and it's perfect to sit down, relax and enjoy the stunning views. There's a playground for children and benches to sit down.

Gorgeous sandy beach with free parking (not overnight). Amazing watching the kite surfers doing their thing on the water. Toilets and playground with a temporary beach goods shop in the central part of the promenade. High tide leaves 8-10 metres of beach and low tide...More

They are at the moment in certain areas. However, this looks as though it may change as there are meetings being held to discuss if they should be banned all year round.
