Bought a return ticket for the tram and enjoyed both journeys, even if a little breezy on a sunny day as there are no windows. Have to change trams midway but can read the tramway history as you walk to the waiting tram for final ascent etc. Walkers and holiday makers waved as we passed and drivers very friendly and... The Great Orme Tram is more than just a tram ride up the hill. It is educational as the information boards at each station reveal the history of the tram. Lovely ride up with very friendly staff.

Best way to get to top of The Great Orme. Slow enough to get some great pictures, and enjoy the scenery.

The tram is a wonderful experience going up if you don't want to walk both ways. Great engineering and fantastic views at the top.

It takes no more than about 40 minutes to get to the top, but changing trams halfway. The views to be had are stunning. At the top there is a really nice... More

What a pleasant surprise! The weather was excellent, clear blue skies and a nice breeze, a good day to try out the Great Orme Tramway from Llandudno up to the cliff top. Passengers were limited to the number of seats available which was fine, no overcrowding, no worries also should you be slightly disabled because the driver/conductor simply waits for... More

This is a really cute and fun way to travel up and down the great Orme. Some lovely views while on the tram. Our boys love travelling up. Unable to take buggys up. I don't know wether you can if you have a baby though.
