Quintessential South Coast beach to walk along, a walk to Beach Head or along the Seven Sisters for the more energetic and a great shop and cafe run by the National Trust. Definitely worth a visit!

Visited Birling Gap for the first time and was amazed at all the facilities that were available. The weather was biting cold so it was wonderful that we could have a lovely coffee in the Café to warm up before we ventured back out again. The views are magnificent and the roar of the sea pounding up the cliffs was... More

Great for being able to take our dog inside after a Walk Friendly staff. On a sunny day , the view is wonderful. You can sit & watch the sun go down.

The Birling gap beach and view point is just stunning. good walks in either direction and theres a great little beach too. Best place to watch a sunset. The National Trust do a great job maintaining this area, and the visitor centre is a must. Cafe serves coffee and the odd bot of food, but to be honest I've been... More

Fantastic place with good walks with amazing scenery. Also there's an excellent coffee shop offering cakes, snacks and drinks. A National Trust gift shop and interesting educational centre is also included in the package. Birling Gap is a place for all seasons, and for all ages.

Lovely place for a weekend drive out I've visited here on quite a few occasions. It helps if you know someone from the area who can offer you a few local hideout/cafes which are dotted out the coast. There is one here just by the local carpark and it does great coffee/cake.

Good choice of coffee and cakes. Lovely sitting area looking out over the sea. Great location to park the car and go for a local walk.

Magical place with beautiful sunsets. Don't miss out. The NT cafe and info centre is a good side attraction too but for me its all about the beautiful 'gap' Great for photographers, walkers, artists, families, paddle boarders and swimmers

The ups and downs of a walk on Beachy Head and the superb scenery and difficult to beat. Then back to the National Trust cafe at Birling Gap for afternoon tea - almost perfect but ..... what's happened to the scones - not as good as they used to be!! Still a must for anyone visiting Eastbourne.
