The cathedral, which was consecrated in 1957, is a double-nave long church in the Gothic style. A 50-metre-high freestanding bell tower culminates in a copper-clad pyramid. The interior of the church contains some lovely stained glass and is richly decorated with Christian symbols and signs. It is the third church to be built on the site. The two first ones burned down, but an old wooden cross and Axel Ender's famous Easter Morning altarpiece were rescued from the flames.

Stopped by after visiting the rose garden. The architecture is very special although the inside was less impressive. Still a place worth visiting.

Our daughter got married here last March and we visited this September to see where it was. It's in a very beautiful setting and hopefully it will be open when you visit.

Molde cathedral is quite a new building compared with most churches, but it never the less is most impressive . Beautiful modern stained glass. Well worth a visit.

After Trondheim we arrived Mølde, One of the cities in Norway. Tight pathways and roads and waterways. Mølde Cathedral is one of the places to visit. Many old buildings and homes around , but their are many shops and restaurants with stunning views over the river.

This church is stunning & well worth a visit. However it should be accessible to the public more often. The church tower bell rings on the hour & sounds calming. The structure is gorgeous & well-kept. This is suitable for a quick sighting.

An old church. I don't really fancy churches, or similar historical buildings. Nice and clean, with an historical touch to it (WW2).

Molde is good city. It has a lot to offer. If it is a rainy day, or not, just try to visit this cathedral. If you are with a guide or with a good book about Molde or Norway, you might see and learn a lot more than you expect.

It was a lovely church with some good stained glass and worth a visit if you are passing. It has a traditional votive ship inside. Its easy to find, right in town.

Was able to view the inside as the church was open. It's pretty basic with some nice stained glass windows.

I hate to say anything unflattering... The members of this church have opened it up to tourists like me to see the church. That is kind, and I am thankful. Simply put, it's not Notre Dame. It's a large church with a bit of stained glass. It's pretty, and if you are walking nearby, you can easily stop in and... More
