Hiking up the highest mountain is an experience! Do hike on a dry day as it can get slippery on a rainy/snowy day. Alternatively you can simply grab a cable car ticket up to the peak.

We took the cable car to the top and decided to walk down. Weather can be temperamental at this time of year and since it was a clear afternoon we wanted to get the top while it lasted to catch the amazing views. It is...More

Had a great time riding the cable car up and down Mount Ulriken. Of course, you can hike up the mountain and the cable car passed over the trail several times, but it was raining all day so I didn't fancy that! Tickets are relatively...More

Yes, thats it. You can crush down on deadly downhill bmx track or take right away the tandem paragliding jump. Archery is possible in a area aswell. Hiking is very popular up this mountain and its said that even Edvard Grieg did that sometimes. On...More

Ulriken is 640 m high and a severely tough climb, but can be done even by small children and older people if in good shape. Remember good footwear! Take a bus to Montana youth hostel and start from there, then you are at 200m already....More

The cable car service is excellent for anyone who doesn’t want to hike. I went on a rainy day, but I’m sure otherwise the hike would be excellent too. Even with the clouds and windy weather, the view at the top is amazing. Can’t imagine...More

Walked up in the misty rain, but the sky cleared up just enough for the sunset at the top. Even though we missed the last cable car down, the entire experience is not to be missed if you like physical activity, fresh air, and great...More

I think it might be difficult for her. If my memory serves me correctly there are stairs to get up to the cable car. Once on top of Ulriken there are more stairs and some pavement, but lots of uneven terrain. Good luck
