All I can say is this trip was a true highlight of our vacation. It was absolutely beautiful! We went with another couple and stayed in Aurland. I would recommend taking two days and staying overnight on the fjord so you can soak everything in!

Norway is expensive. The Norway in a Nutshell tour is no exception. We chose the boat from Bergen to Flam ("Flom" not "Flaam"), train to Oslo. Arrive at the dock at 7:30am for an 8:00am departure to secure a window seat. Sit on the starboard...More

As other respondents said, Norway in a Nutshell is possibly the best hassle free option. We took the tour in April 2017 & very pleased with it. Amazing scenery on the Bergen & Flam railway. And the spectacular Fjord Cruise.
