Round trip by boat
Nov 2019 • Solo
You simply just take the route B1 from the city hall and experience the beautiful Oslofjord. This is probably one of the cheapest activities in Oslo...

Great way to show visitors the fjord
Jul 2019 • Family
I took my parents and friend, who were visiting from the US, on the ferry from drøbak to Oslo. It was a leisurely way to get there and a nice way to see the food. Unfortunately I don't get to enjoy the trip so much because my 2 year old was tired and crying, but my parents enjoyed it. There are toilets and a changing table on board. The trip took about 1.5 hours.the cost was about 485 nok for four adults so very reasonable.

Leisurely and scenic ferry rides across Oslo Fjord
Aug 2017 • Couples
My wife and I used the ferry to visit Hovedoya and Gressholmen on our island hopping trip across the Oslo Fjord. The views of Bygdoy and of downtown Oslo were scenic as we leisurely crossed the harbor.

Enjoyed the views
Feb 2017 • Couples
When visiting Oslo we decided to take a trip on the ferry to view some of the islands. We didnt get off at any as we just wanted to take in the views. It was beautiful and we got some lovely pictures from the top of the ferry deck. Took about an hour and it was just something nice to do while in the City. Would recommend.

Island hopping in the Oslo Fjord
Jul 2016 • Family
Take a ferry and go island hopping between the islands in the Oslo Fjord!

With a regular public transportation ticket or an Oslo Pass you can easily get on and off any of the ferries going between Rådhusbrygge 4 (City Hall Pier 4), Hovedøya, Lindøya, Nakholmen, Bleikøya, Gressholmen and Langøyene.

The islands are popular places to go swimming in the summer, but each island has its unique character and history worth exploring. Bring a picnic basket and a blanket and enjoy the peace You can use the same tickets on all public transport in Oslo: bus, tram, metro, train and ferry (not the Bygdøy ferry).

24-hour ticket
(flexible start time, non-personal ticket)
Adult 90 NOK ( 10 euro)
Child/senior 45 NOK

7-day ticket
(flexible start date, non-personal ticket)
Adult 240 NOK ( 24 euros )
Child/youth/senior 120 NOK

this is so worth the price.

Good Service
Jul 2016 • Friends
These small but very efficient boats run a regular service from the town pier across to the Bygdoy island and if you have an Oslo pass you can hop on and off as many times you wish. Very good service.

Easy transportation to the Oslo islands and Bygdoy
Jun 2016 • Couples
We used the ferry multiple times during our stay to get out to Bygdoy. If you have the Oslo Pass, transportation is free. During the summer months a new ferry arrives at the dock about every 15-20 minutes. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the first stop in Bygdoy.
