Free to enter and walk around, with various museums and a visitor centre inside to see whilst within the walls. Great views afforded from all around the fortress.

Not many people are here so you can easily to get nice pictures with the harbor and blue sky, echoing with this 700 years old fortress.

A good place to just walk up and around the get to see the better view of Oslo :) you get the feeling of the medieval or something like that

We enjoyed our visit! Amazing. Some museums inside this location. The military museum is interesting. A lot of walking to get around this site.

Interesting fort. No charge for entry and can walk around at your leisure. Most is open / outside so pick a dry day.

We walked to this castle and found it quite interesting although limited in English explanations of events. Therefore, lacking the skill to speak, or read, Norwegian left us rather uninformed.
