This museum chronicles the brave, futile struggle to resist the German attack. The escape of the king and cabinet and the power grab of Quisling. The Norwegians were formidable in developing their resistance to thwart the Germans. Good for WW II buffs.

A step back to WW11 and how the Norwegian resistance grew. Very interesting. This is a must-see and a reminder that sometimes resistance is the only way to survive

This museum is up in the castle. It looks real small from the outside but there is a lot of information inside. I like World War 2 history a lot and I found out numerous things that I did not know. Well worth the time.

From the outside, this museum is small. But inside, a HUGE archive of information and artifacts. WWII historians will love this museum.

I think I know quite a lot about the Second World War but I hadn't appreciated just how the Norwegians had responded to being invaded, once the original invasion was over. So this museum educated me on just how resistant the Norwegians were and how...More

This was a revelation that there was a lot of resistance to the Germans during WWII in Norway. This museum is very well done and the pictures from the time were especially good!
