So many museums in Oslo to see but this was probably my favourite of all. Having visited WW2 museums in a number of European cities, I had to visit this one as I knew little about Norway during WW2 While there, the Museum was being refurbished meaning the lower floor was not accessible, but I still enjoyed the visit. Low... More

i visited this museum the first time i went to Oslo. It left me a very strong impression. I could never imagine the important role of Norway during war. I do recomend to the visitors who want to add knowledge to their trip.

We took a brisk walk in the chilly air, but were rewarded with an educational morning. Our historical knowledge was increased through a thoughtful display of artifacts, movies, photos and writings. A definite plus for those interested in WWII resistance stories.

This is a really good Museum if you are insterested in World War II history. We spent around an hour in there, it is only a small museum but as with all the museums in Oslo they are all very specialist and cover one subject which I like. It covers from the German Invasion of Norway in the 1940s and... More

We visited this very interesting small museum today on a snowy day. I was very interested in the very interesting history of Norway during WWII. I liked the simple but effective chronological way it was organised. Really interesting snapshots of aspects of the history of that time. I realise it is being renovated at present, but still well wroth a... More

This museum is Free! It might not be the biggest place around but is very informative and great exhibits to see. If you are a history buff, you need to see this. There are several old tanks outside to see also, along with a red cross truck. you have to see this in order to appreciated it.

Norway has a mass of history ,the WW2 part of their history is told at the Resistance Museum , the lower floor was under renovation when we visited and the admission fee was reduced. The Oslo Card includes access to all Museums and is worth getting if you are planning on visiting a few museums and galleries in Oslo.

Interesting place which talk about the Norwegian resistance, especially scrolls written in blood. Within the akershush fortress complex, so easy to get there.

The Resistance Museum is a small museum tucked away in a part of Akershus Fortress and is a fascinating collection of artifacts and tales of Norway's political resistance activity during WWII. The museum is a bit funky with collections of artifacts whose significance isn't always obvious until you read the fine print. There is a film that is greatly helpful... More

It's worth a visit if WWII still is one of the thing that you're interested in. Here you can get an impression how it was in Norway during the five years when the germans had occupied the country. Even though it's small it's interesting and worth a visit.
