Incredible experience would highly recommend! My partner and I booked this experience last minute due to issues with another tour, so we were unsure of what to expect and we were so glad we did. The staff; Luna, Anne-Marie and Matilda were all fantastic so welcoming and made us feel at home amongst the reindeer. We were provided with an incredible Reindeer stew (definitely try this!) and Luna shared plenty of stories and facts about the native Sami culture. The reindeer experience was phenomenal, you get to roam around and feed any of the 50-100 reindeer for about an hour and a half before jumping on a leisurely sled ride around the area. This was one of the best things we did in Norway (and Tromso) and we couldn’t be happier with how it was conducted from start to finish!…

Amazing!!! I absolutely loved this tour, would highly recommend, it was fantastic to hear about Saami culture from a Saami member themselves and to learn about reindeer husbandry. The reindeer were super cute! I would advise however that the reindeer sledding is unnecessary and if I could go back in time I wouldn’t have done it - you can have plenty of fun just feeding and petting the reindeer, no need to force them to pull you along in a sled.…

Unique experience overall. During the your you may feed the reindeer herd, interact with them, go for a 10 minutes sledding. Afterwards you are invited in a lavvu tent for hot drinks and soup. In the end you get to meet the Sami culture, get information about their traditions and finally wrapping up the tour with joik, traditional Sami culture. …

We had a great time feeding the reindeer and learning about the Sami Culture! The camp is very spacious with lots of reindeer to feed. They also gave us crampons as it was quite icy so we could walk around easily. Enjoy your time with the reindeer, there is plenty of time to feed them and walk around while waiting for everybody to enjoy their sled ride so no need to rush or worry you'll miss something - they'll come find you! The sledding was quite relaxing, and I was nervous about the reindeer stew but it was very good. Our favorite part was learning about the Sami culture. Really recommend this experience and learn about the Sami people during your time in Norway.…

The trip started at raddison blu hotel, we took a bus to the reindeer camp. We were welcomed heavily by the people. We went inside a huge traditional tent and got a small welcome drink, then we headed to feeding the reindeers and taking photos.we rode the small slead and it was so fun They offered us some pictures, and went back to the huge tents and got a hot chocolate and reindeer stew or vegetable option was available. Afterwards, we started a traditional saami culture knowledge session and it was so interactive. The whole experience was pleasant. I only wish we had the option to buy some saami souvenirs and it was less 💩 on the sleads and the road ( thus for people going there just don't dress fancy cuz everything will get reindeer 💩) But it's highly recommended and very enjoyable…

Thank you for the review and kind words! Happy yo hear you enjoyed the tour 😊 Unfortunately due to the weather, there hasn't been so much snow in the past two weeks and hence you could see more traces of the reindeer than usually 😂 We hope it didn't disturb your experience too much. This is the first season that we have the gift shop at the camp, and it has been so popular that we have actually run out of some of the products. That is why there might not be so many items. Thank you again for your visit and welcome back again 😊
