Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A fantastic spectacle, both from the bridge if you're not afraid of heights and from the sea level too. There's a table available online that shows high and low tide and when it's best to see it.

Great view from top of bridge, walk up left hand side pedestrian footpath from car park, check tide times so you go when currents are at their peak.

Really amazing sight of up to 400cubic metres of seawater powering its way through a 1.8 mile long and just under 150 metre wide every six hours.

At the eye of the vortex one can witness vortices of up to 9 metre in diametre and 5 metre deep when the current is at its strongest.

What an amazing place to visit. You can walk around this place for a good hour or so taking in its natural beauty while waiting for the Tidal Race. We looked on line at the daily schedule for the timing of this natural phenomena as it takes place every six hours. Unfortunately, we did not realize that we were looking at a 2021 schedule so we missed the full blown show. Nonetheless, we did get to witness it in its early stages as it builds up strength. There are many youtube videos that show this amazing occurrence. I posted only a few photos, but with each step, there was yet another amazing photo op. What a truly beautiful place.

When going to Bodø this is simply a must do. The place in itself is spectacular. The area and victor centre just adds to a nice experience.
