Visited the island by bicyle in July. A lot of tourist-traffic but south and north islands are worth a visit. The middle is not that breathraking.

If you are here for just a short time you have to get lucky with the weather. There is a really good museum made out of a squires home and fishing sheds/boats. Spectacular scenery around.

We were there in summer - as a day stop on a cruise ship. It was light until about midnight and the scenery was stunning. I think the only issue in winter would be there is barely any daylight.
