flex is a place for young and old people to dance, kiss and take drugs. it has a big dancefloor and another rather big bar floor area filled with sofas ready for you to hang in there and relax. the soundsytem is very good, but loud... don't forget to bring some earplugs

I've been there with 2 friends, the electronic music was really cool and perfect to dance, the price was fair and the location really attractive. I advice to go if you are in Vienna looking for having fun.

This place is a shame for Vienna. Years ago the club was top with music and good people inside. Sure drugs are always a topic in a club but this is too much now. You are not even able to be asked by lot of men standing close to the entry and selling drugs and in the club it seems... More

This club was quite possibly one of the worst nights I have ever had. After being constantly approached by drug dealers before entry (which was overpriced), we entered the dark & damp catastrophe they call "Flex" to hear some awfully repetitive music and see 95% of the people drugged up. DO NOT GO.

In general I like quality electronic music but that was something trashy... really heavy Drum'n'Bass that you simply can't dance on or follow. Full of drunk school age kids. Definitely my last visit there.

A few people like to call this place the best dance club in Vienna. When we saw the etablissement, we had to double check because we couldn't believe this grimy hole was supposed to be the place we were looking for. The music is as horrible as the atmosphere in general.

Flex has been a local underground club for more than 20years. It still has the underground, dark and dirty flair. It is divided in 3 areas. The club, the cafe and the outside garden. You don't pay for the cafe normally only for the club. Go there in summer to hang around outside on the river with thousands of people.... More

This club is awesome, plays electronic music and is well situated (city center, near the Danube). We could also have some drinks before in the bar just next to the club. We met a lot of people there, and could practice our German. Very nice place, we had a lot of fun there with my friend.

Went on a Wednesday maximum of about 20 other people in the club at peak time. Music was fine, drinks way too expensive (had to buy a cup for 1,50 euros for tap water) Could be good if fuller, maybe on a weekend?

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s poshest green leafy suburb is also its most romantic hotspot. Walk up Grinzinger Strasse with its many historic wine taverns. The tops of nearby Nussberg and Reisenberg hills make for great strolls through the vineyards, and the occasional discovery of a hidden winery. Popular local weekend hangouts are Neustift am Walde with even more great wine taverns, and café restaurant Cobenzl, up on Cobenzl hill – fantastic for great vistas of Vienna. The woodland around Kahlenberg has a wonderful and not too strenuous hiking path - just don't forget the insect repellent. If you have adventurous children, take them to Waldseilpark Kahlenberg (forest rope park Kahlenberg). A must-do if you want a taste of the Vienna Woods is a stop at Josefinenhütte next door with its great food, cosy interiors and wonderful outdoor space.
