Without a guide, you would mistake this apartment block for yet another beautiful palace in Vienna. But there’s a big chance that there’s a person of significance living in one of these beautiful homes sometime in history. Here at the Pasqualati House on Mölker Bastei,...More

Just five small rooms with some manuscripts, paintings and other items. For the price, it may not be worth it unless you are really interested.

Great to see HIS piano and 1 or 2 other personal objects but experience very much pales compared with the wonderful Haydnhaus or the info rich Mozarthaus. Crucially for anyone with no German there are neither audio guides nor English translations of info on display....More

I walked into Beethoven's Apartment on a weekday morning at around 10am. I walked up the four levels of stairs thinking about how his jam session partners brought their instruments up to his place. It was amazing because we toured the location during the Christmas...More

We entered in a small ugly hall ... we should have understood at this point! Beethoven probably turns twice in his grave each time someone pays to visit this place which was not his flat ... There are some interesting things but without translation and...More

Do not bother to visit. Unless you would like to see Beethoven's salt and pepper cellars and sugar container. Oh yes and one painting. Because that is all that is authentic about the place. Not even the piano was Beethoven's. And lots of photocopies of...More

One of the things that you will learn here is that Beethoven probably did not live in this apartment and it is more likely that he lived in the one next door. This is a small museum with four rooms--it's an old apartment. They have...More

The Beethoven Museum, the Pasqualatihaus, is in the Mólker Bastel across the Ringstraße from the Univerität but not actually at street level. So, you will need your wits to find it. It is in the bloc on your left, the one that peers down on...More
