For some reason the architecture of this 1879 church just off the Ringstrasse made a great impression upon me when I first visited there in 2005. It has the most impressive twin towers which dominate the skyline. I had not returned on a couple of...More

Such a nice church, the only thing was restoration process is still on so you can't enjoy more. But still it was great from inside.

We visited here at the end of our trip and though it was a impressive Gothic church although it was being re-done so you couldn't get the whole of it's glory but still phenomenal to see. It has beautiful stained glass windows too.

Hi - I was wondering if Votiv Kirche is still doing english masses everyday at 11:15. I'm traveling there in April and would love to find a place to attend mass while there. Thanks.

As far as I know, the latest is that very Sunday morning at 11:15, Father Joe or a stand-in says the Mass in English for most parts, but sprinkles in other languages in some parts. Also, St. Francis of Assisi Church, across... More
