There’s a little park with a pond, stunning buildings and a relaxed atmosphere over the area despite it being busy with people and tourists. Lots of little shops nearby as well.

There are lots of things to do here: shops, restaurants, museums, Opera house, metro station or stops, etc. I walked around this area just enjoying the vibes and watching people as they pass by.

I guess early morning or dusky evening is the best time, but this slightly understated square overawed by Karlskirken seems to combine just right

Didn´t see the playground either, but I was there in winter and there wasn´t many people there. About safety, bear in mind that Vienna scores top hight in life quality rates in Europe; for isntance, I didn´t see any hobos... More
