Worst night club I have ever been to. The bouncers were rude and temperamental to the point of mocking. After paying an outrageous €12 entrance fee we walked down stairs to the dance floor which was absolutely barren. We went approx 1hour 30 mins after opening so we were expecting some form of night life as advertised in their programme. Don’t go here, it is atrocious.

Avoid this club at all costs. We first spent €168 for a table and a bottle of vodka, only to get thrown out 40 minutes later. My phone was still in the club and i was leaving the country the next day, but the bouncers refused me to go back and get it, and proceeded to push me and hit my friend. Ended up going back to my country without my phone..

The bouncer outside pushed a female out of the line when she didn’t say or do absolutely anything at all. Even his colleagues and peers looked and asked him why he did what he did, as it was very disrespectful, and he had no response. If this is a representation of how males treat ladies and females in Vienna, then I wish well for those that may have such a negative experience in the future.

Last week I went to this club and they said you can not enter because you are alone!!! I travel alone and I never meet such criteria. However, I think it was not true, but it was because I was not a European.

U4 is probably the most overrated club I have ever been to. Most places I have been to in Vienna do not charge cover. U4 charged 10 euro cover on a normal Tuesday night. With such a steep price just to get through the door, I had pretty high expectations for a fun night with good drinks. Drink prices were pretty awful, and the bartenders were super stingy on the alcohol in your drink. I ordered two shots of tequila, and I received about a half shot in each. I then ordered a mixed drink which tasted like fruit juice and probably had the same amount of alcohol. Not to mention, this is after you're lucky enough to get a bartender to look at you. I watched a group order three rounds of shots before a pretty frustrated bartender grabbed my money and asked what I wanted, as if my money is worthless and I don't deserve to be there. Sections of the club were randomly blocked off, and if you wandered to these parts of the bar you were promptly removed. I continuously checked and these parts were never used. There was not a single friendly worker there. The best part: a friend of mine was blackmailed into paying 100 euro in order to avoid an altercation with the police. He was falsely accused of stealing missing alcohol, they grabbed him just by picking someone out of the bunch. After man handling him through the bar to take him outside, they told him he could pay 100 euro or he would have to deal with the police. He did not steal anything, and there was no reasoning for their actions. If you're in Vienna, you can do much better. I recommend considering a night in by yourself with Netflix before going to this bar. Unless of course you love rude bartenders, cover, and blackmail.

We were in Vienna for one night and were told that this was the best club in Vienna. I hope this was a mistake, there was only one room open with about 30 guys and 4 girls the atmosphere was awful and the drinks were expensive

First of all everybody attending seems to be in high school. The DJ does not know how to mix music, so listen to the whole songs one after another, just like a playlist in Spotify. There is an alternative though, you can go to the other dance floor, which is a closed space full of people smoking inside, but it is worth it if you want to listen "Macarena". Drinks are expensive by the way.

This was a really pleasant suprise. We visited Vienna for the Weekend and the cab driver suggest to go to U4 after we left some posh cub in the Center of town, where we did not really get in a Party mood. Coming down the stairs we instantly know that's the right place for us. The vibe was just perfect, everybody was in a good mood and it felt like we came here for years. Really cool place if you wanna have fun an meet some nice People.

It is not just about race but they don't let in also white mens if they are without girls, due exact number of girls/boys given by bosses and also,
if they are not sure that you are Austrian, they will ask ID and then they will tell you
that you can't go inside. Same in many places in Vienna, incl. Volksgarte, Praterdome, Utopia Disco etc. etc.
Sometimes they are lying that you can't go in the club because it is just for students only at that day or some other lie. I tried it many times in that clubs (different clothes, different days, different friends) still the same because we were without girls. Shame on Vienna.

I was visiting with some friends, when ordering a drink for my friend who needed it I tried ordering water but didn’t reach the €20 minimum before you can use your card.(wtf) So I ordered 4 red bull aswell, for my other friends. Bartender gave me 4 wodka energy instead, which of course I declined. Got ignored for 30 minutes before I could explain them that they’ve misunderstood my order and finally got to order my water. It’s actually amazing that staff can treat customers like that.
Would definitely not recommend for english speakers and tourists. 👎🏻
