The worst shopping center in Vienna. The toilets are very disgusting, the entrancaces as well as one of the elevators smell like pee. The amount of shops is rather little. Tne only good thing about the Lugner City is the running sushi restaurant.

This shopping mall isn't particularly large but it does have basically everything you need including 2 supermarkets. There are also a variety of other shops, fast food outlets and cafés.

There is nothing special about this mall. Basic shops in a small building. Go if you have run out of shopping destinations in Vienna

Not so far from the Westbahnhof Railway Station, close to the stadium, it is a very welcoming Shopping Mall. Right at the entrance, if you are short of cash, you have the ATMs and if you wish to start with a coffee and a bite, a beautiful eatery is right in front. The mall having a basement and three floors... More

After visiting some shopping malls around vienna, this for me is more of an old style shopping, ugly, not very organized. I recommend going to Donauzentrum.

I am really disappointed from Zoo Shop in Lugner City. I bought blouse for my dog with аrrangement to change if the size is not ok. The blouse was too big and I want to change with smaller one. I went in Zoo Shop and the saleswoman opened the bag with blouse and she damaged one of the button of... More

The mall is located a few blocks from westbahnhof station. The main stores anchoring it are C&A, Merkur market and a large electronic store. There are supposed to be over 100 stores here. Not really a mall for tourist, you are better off going to Mariahilfil for that.

My husband and I visited Lugner City because it was quite close to our hotel (we stayed in Vienna in September 2012). It's not a bad place to shop - it has a mixture of what you'd expect to find in a shopping mall. Supermarket, toy shop, pet shop, fashion, and lots of food outlets. I do remember it was... More

Staying in Ottakring

Neighbourhood Profile
Ottakring
The production site of popular Ottakringer beer brews up an exciting mix of working and middle class suburbs, Balkanese immigrant lifestyles, and lush patches of hilly woodland. The recently gentrified area around Yppenplatz and Brunnenmarkt boasts hip cafés and bars next to South East European delicacies at Brunnenmarkt street market. The dynamics of Ottakring become most apparent at its vibrant high street Ottakringer Strasse. At the top end you can feast on wine and local food in Austria’s oldest wine tavern 10er Marie. The wines are from the tavern’s own urban vineyards. Before you head upwards, make sure you pay a visit to the historic courtyards between Lerchenfelder Gürtel and Hippgasse. When locals visit Ottakring’s hilly green outskirts on the weekends they either climb up 31 meters of Jubiläumswarte viewing tower on Gallitzinberg, have a succulent Wiener Schnitzel at Villa Aurora, or reward their hiking exertions around Wilhelminenberg with a drink and a view from Wilhelminenberg Palace (now a hotel and restaurant).
